Three questions / Three distinct records
A film is more
than a score.
- 01
The promise.
What was said about the film, who said it and where to find the original. A sourced record keeps the context beside the claim.
- 02
The ticket.
Recorded prices with the city, theatre, format and seat in view. A premium seat needs a comparable price, not a convenient baseline.
- 03
The experience.
The viewer’s own verdict, what connected and whether the ticket felt worth it. Different answers to different questions.
The audience gets its own voice
A verdict.
A feeling.
A sense
of value.
Read the method (opens in a new tab)Keep those answers separate. Let the disagreement show.
A viewer’s overall word sits beside feelings, craft responses and ticket value. A checked ticket adds provenance; it does not make one person’s taste count more.
Audience headlines need enough responses and a clear result. Early or divided responses stay visible as uncertainty. Results describe the people who answered.
The source stays close
“They said it”
needs a where.
- 01
Keep the original.
Record the speaker and original source, with the exact moment for a video claim. A source does not make every claim a fact.
- 02
Keep the context.
Distinguish something that can be checked from promotional enthusiasm. Editorial records are labelled; they do not imply a film team adopted them.
- 03
Keep the response.
Preserve corrections and replies. Contributions go through review, with a tracked route for grievances and appeals.

Context.
Without the spin.
Is this another star-rating site?
The core audience response asks viewers for their own overall word and keeps feelings, craft and ticket value separate. An audience headline needs enough answers and a clear result; uncertainty is not turned into an average.
Does a film team have to join?
No. Editors can build a record from public sources. That record is labelled as editorial, and a missing response from the film team is not treated as an admission or an endorsement.
Does a checked ticket change someone’s vote?
A checked ticket adds provenance to a response. It does not give that person’s taste more weight. Audience results describe respondents, rather than claiming to represent every viewer.
